The specifications of the Alta Langa D.O.C.G. establishes a minimum altitude of 250 meters for the vineyards.
However, in consideration of climate changes and our
commitment to seeking the highest quality of our wines, we have decided to
raise the bar, choosing to use vineyards located only at an altitude between
between 500 and 600 meters.
On Monday 6 November 2023, in this regard, we organized a conference at the marvelous Relais Villa d'Amelia in Benevello, in Alta Langa,
entitled "Why does Altitude make a difference?"
in which
two authoritative scientists and experts in the agronomic and oenological
sector, Prof. Attilio Scienza and Prof. Vincenzo Gerbi, explained to us why from
a scientific point of view.
