Barolo del Comune di Barolo Essenze 2016

Highly Recommended

“This is the top brand of the huge Terre da Vino cooperative. It works with selected growers who agree to very high standards of viticulture. Specific parcels in Barolo are vinified separately, aged in small oak barrels, then blended before bottling. The nose is very ripe but subdued, with cherry and marzipan aromas. It’s firm on the palate, quite rich and concentrated, and good acidity gives flair and leads to a long peppery finish. Still adolescent.”
